What are the basics of relationship bases? The primary 4 pillars will be: care; a feeling of belonging; support; and security; these will all be tied to taking a risk.
It will take a solid foundation in which to build a firm house. We've all dreamed of reliable and trustworthy marriages and understand the meaning of the proverb, "a friend who is in need will be a friend indeed." But, the security we search for within a marriage seems to disappear quickly with every one of the pressures of today's constant changing society.
If one of these pillars isn't firm enough, the entire structure will be threatened and eventually will collapse. You cannot build on one of these pillars in order topensate for a lack of another. Here are the 4 primary relationship bases:
Love
This pillar will consist of more aspects needed for a relationship to function: care; a sense of belonging; support; and safety and security. To become yourself will be a good privilege and there will be specific individuals within your lifetime who you could be yourself with due to you trusting them. You could give up your "safety armor" and just appreciate their presence. To understand that you possess individuals who support and encourage you through the bad and good times will be a necessity we all possess. An individual who provides you support will be with you, determined to bring the best out in you, being encouraging, and helping you dream to higher levels which transcend your own. We will be social beings and all understand the pain of becoming rejected versus the happiness of being needed/accepted as well as valued in amunity. That is why it's vital for us to belong with somebody in a group which ideally represents your interests and values. To care for somebody means to provide that individual a unique place within your heart and to have the ability to give up a few of your ownforts to display that your care will be true.
Trust
Trusting another persones easy to a few individuals, yet for some, it could be difficult, particularly when their experiences may have pushed them to think that some aren't to be trusted easily. That is why you must deal with your spouse using extreme care. Just as it will take two to carry on a marriage, you must be trustworthy if that is what you desire from your spouse.
Respect
Respect will be mandatory within a lifetime marriage and it means that you have to acknowledge the value of your spouse. An important element is that to respect another, you must first respect yourself. You could welcome another, providing him or her the attention needed. It's as if you're relaying: "I'm glad you're in my life!" It means showing a higher appreciation level to the point in which you're free to let your friend know that you wish you possessed his or her qualities or abilities.
Understanding
This pillar must take time to increase, as it could solely be built upon understanding your spouse, there must be intensemunication. You have to understand what the other will feel and how she or he thinks in order to have the ability to understand her or him.
